Let's take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of our talented Rockets at the recent KMEA conference!
🎤 Junior Sophia Butler showcased her musical prowess with the All-State Mixed Choir! Not only did she deliver an outstanding performance, but she also earned recognition for an impressive three years of participation in the All-State Choir! Way to go, Sophia!
🎺🥁 And here's a historic moment for Rose Hill High School - our Wind Ensemble made school history by performing at KMEA for the very first time! Out of 40 audition tapes, including entries from middle school, high school, college, and professional bands, only eight were selected - and our students and band teachers proudly made the cut! This is the highest honor a band can receive in Kansas!
🎷🎺 Three of our exceptional musicians, Maddy Vaughters (bass clarinet), Lucas Shropshire (trumpet), and Trey Campbell (trombone), were chosen to perform in the prestigious 1234A All-State Band! 🌟 Their dedication and talent have truly shone through!
📽️ You can catch the magic of our Wind Ensemble's performance on the Rocket Band Facebook page!
