𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰? Our elementary students currently have limited space for art education and no kiln for hands-on pottery and ceramics projects. The proposed bond includes plans to expand and improve art facilities, providing a safe, dedicated space where creativity can flourish. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨: • 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆-𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 – By updating the art space, we can ensure a safe environment for activities like painting, drawing, and working with clay. Right now, art lessons are limited in scope, and safety precautions are harder to maintain without an updated space. • 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆-𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 – Installing a kiln will open new creative possibilities for students. With proper safety features in place, they’ll experience hands-on ceramics projects, benefiting from a secure environment where they can learn new skills. AND, you might even get a masterpiece worth MILLIONS some day. 🤩 • 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Limited space not only impacts learning but also creates challenges in ensuring all students have the supervision and resources they need. With a dedicated, expanded art area, teachers can safely oversee more students while encouraging creativity and skill development. By voting YES, we’re prioritizing our children’s safety and creativity, ensuring they have the secure spaces and resources needed to explore art safely. Art is an essential part of education, building confidence, critical thinking, and fine motor skills. Art in elementary school lays a foundation for a well-rounded education, supporting both personal and academic growth. It’s more than just creating—it’s about developing skills that will benefit them for life. Let’s give our young artists the tools and safe space they need to grow! 🎨 #SecureAndSoar #ArtForAll Read more about the bond here~ https://www.usd394.com/page/secureandsoar

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰? The proposed bond includes critical updates to the aging mechanical equipment at Rose Hill Middle School, improving safety, comfort, and energy efficiency for our students and staff for years to come! 𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝙼𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜: • 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Aging HVAC systems are more prone to issues that can lead to poor air circulation and temperature fluctuations. By upgrading our systems, we’ll ensure healthier air quality and stable temperatures, creating a safer and more comfortable environment for students and staff. • 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 – New equipment will be designed to use energy more efficiently, lowering operating costs and reducing our environmental footprint. Not only does this make financial sense, but it also aligns with our commitment to sustainability. • 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 – Consistent, dependable mechanical systems are essential for daily school operations. Updated systems reduce the risk of breakdowns that can interrupt learning and, in severe cases, impact student safety. • 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 – Modern mechanical systems will keep our classrooms comfortable during the hot and cold months, enhancing focus and well-being throughout the school day. By voting YES on November 5th, we can prioritize a safer, healthier learning environment for everyone at Rose Hill Middle School. It’s a practical investment in the comfort, health, and safety of our students and staff, today and in the years to come. #SecureAndSoar 🚀 #EnergyEfficientSchools 🛠️🏫 Read more about the bond here~ https://www.usd394.com/page/secureandsoar

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰? Currently, our softball players practice and compete at a field managed by the City of Rose Hill, while our baseball players have a dedicated field right on campus. As part of our commitment to equity, we believe our girls deserve a field of their own—a place that matches the pride and spirit they bring to their sport every day. 💪🥎 Providing equitable facilities aligns with the principles of Title IX, which advocates for equal opportunities in athletics for all students. Supporting this bond would allow us to build a designated softball field 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, ensuring our softball players have the same quality resources as our baseball players. The City does a great job managing the fields but building this field on our campus would allow us to manage the facilities directly, ensuring that maintenance and security standards match the level we maintain across all school facilities. #SecureAndSoar #FairPlayForAll Read more about the bond here~ https://www.usd394.com/page/secureandsoar

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰? One of the key components of the upcoming bond issue is a complete upgrade of the Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) room at RHHS? Why Upgrading Mrs. Evans’ FACS Classroom is Essential: 👃 Improved Ventilation and Safety: Currently, the FACS room has only one vent that directs air into the class next door (*cough cough* ... Sorry Mr. Grier!). This leads to overpowering smells when students are cooking, requiring them to open doors and windows. Not only does this disrupt the learning environment, but it also creates potential security issues. Upgrading the ventilation system will ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere, allowing students to focus on their work without distractions. 🛠️ Reliable Appliances and Equipment: The appliances in the FACS room are often in need of repair. An upgraded classroom will provide reliable equipment that enhances the educational experience. Students will be able to learn vital cooking, sewing, and design skills without the frustration of malfunctioning tools. 📦 Adequate Storage Space: Currently, there isn't enough storage for materials and cooking/baking needs. Upgraded cabinets and storage solutions will create an organized and efficient workspace, allowing students to access everything they need easily. 👩‍🏫 Comprehensive Learning Opportunities: Nearly EVERY HS student will take a class in Mrs. Evans’ FACS classroom, whether it's Foods, Textiles, Interior Design, Teaching as a Career, or Family & Parenting. An upgraded space will not only enhance their learning but also foster essential life skills. These courses are critical in preparing students for real-life situations, from cooking nutritious meals to understanding household management. By voting YES on November 5th, we can ensure that our FACS classroom meets the needs of all students, providing them with the tools and environment necessary to thrive in their education. #SecureAndSoar 🚀 #InvestInEducation 📚 Read more about the bond here~ https://www.usd394.com/page/secureandsoar

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰? Currently, our district has no dedicated tornado shelters, only designated safe spaces within our schools. But living in tornado alley, we know how unpredictable severe weather can be. The bond will fund the construction of FEMA-certified storm shelters at each school in our district, providing safe havens during severe weather. But these shelters won’t just be for emergencies—they’re designed to serve as valuable, multifunctional spaces for daily use, maximizing their impact across our schools! 𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚎 𝚂𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚆𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝙴𝚗𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝙾𝚞𝚛 𝚂𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚕𝚜 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚛-𝚁𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍: 1. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆/𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 – These shelters will double as classrooms and flexible learning spaces, giving our youngest learners more room for creative activities, group work, and hands-on projects. 2. 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 – At the middle school, the shelter will provide a much-needed flexible space for large gatherings, science and STEM projects, and activities that require extra room to learn and grow. 3. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 – At the high school, the shelter will provide an expanded weight room and wrestling area, supporting our growing athletics program and offering improved facilities for fitness and training. Plus, it will also expand our band room, giving our talented musicians the space they need to practice and perform. These FEMA shelters are more than just a safety measure—they’re a daily benefit to our students, staff, and school programs. By investing in these versatile spaces, we’re preparing for the unexpected while enhancing the learning environment across our district. A YES vote on November 5th for the Secure & Soar Bond means safer, smarter spaces for our kids every day. Let’s create a secure and thriving future for Rose Hill students, both in the classroom and beyond! 🌪️ #SecureAndSoar #SafetyFirst Read more about the bond here~ https://www.usd394.com/page/secureandsoar
