There’s a new face at the helm of Rose Hill Primary School, and she’s bringing with her not only a wealth of experience, but also a heart for kids, community, and connection. We’re thrilled to introduce Emily Noe as our new Principal!
Emily comes to Rose Hill from Derby Public Schools, where she served in several roles over the years—kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, and instructional coach. But long before she stepped into those positions, she knew education was her calling.
“My own experiences opened my eyes to the transformative potential of education, not only as a place of learning, but as a catalyst for empowerment and resilience,” Emily shared.
She understands that school is about so much more than just reading and math. It’s about helping students feel seen, supported, and safe. That belief has guided her work every step of the way—and it’s one of the reasons she was drawn to Rose Hill.
“There’s something special about being part of a close-knit school where families, staff, and students are all invested in one another’s success,” she said.
“During my interview, I knew instantly this was home for me.”
As she steps into her new role, Emily is focused on building a school environment where students are excited to come each day. Her goal? A place where learning is hands-on and challenging, but also fun, joyful, and age-appropriate.
“I want our school to be a place where students are not only challenged academically, but also cared for emotionally and socially.”
She’s also passionate about supporting teachers and staff—because when educators feel supported, students thrive.
Emily’s leadership style is grounded in collaboration. She believes in listening to all voices—students, teachers, staff, and families—and creating space for open, honest communication.
“Fostering a culture of collaboration starts with a shared vision for student success,” she said. “It’s about building trust and working together toward that common goal.”
Outside of school, Emily enjoys a busy life with her two kids—Remington, 14, who loves wrestling and working on engines, and Chandlyr, 7, who is all about dance and art. Her family is active in their church and community, and they love spending time outdoors and cheering each other on in their favorite activities.
We’re so excited to have Emily Noe leading Rose Hill Primary. Her warmth, energy, and vision are a perfect match for our school community—and we can’t wait for you to get to know her!
