Welcome to USD 394 Rose Hill Schools!

We are proud to welcome military families to our community, where nearly 8% of our students are military-connected. With our district located just 10 miles southeast of McConnell Air Force Base, we have a strong military heritage and deep appreciation for the sacrifices and dedication of our service-members and their families.

At Rose Hill Schools, we understand the unique challenges military families face, especially during school transitions. Our commitment is to provide unwavering support and a welcoming environment that helps your children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are here to assist you every step of the way as your family becomes part of our Rocket community.

Thank you for your service, and we look forward to serving you and your family!

Comprehensive Support for Military Families at Rose Hill Schools

Rose Hill Schools is proud to offer robust support services for our military families. Each of our school buildings has a dedicated counselor, supported by a district-wide SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) Coordinator, a district-wide Social Worker, and a Behavioral Health Liaison. These on-site professionals are committed to providing non-medical counseling and support services tailored to the unique needs of military families.

Our counseling team is equipped to assist children and spouses of military service members during deployments and other transitions. They offer counseling sessions to prepare families for separations due to overseas postings, and help children develop resilience and coping strategies. Services also extend to families adjusting to new bases and communities.

Examples of Commonly Addressed Issues Include:

  • Adjustment and transition

  • Stress management

  • Anxiety and sadness

  • Deployment cycle challenges

  • Communication skills

  • Behavioral concerns such as aggression

  • Parenting support

  • Grief and loss

Rose Hill Schools is dedicated to ensuring that military families have access to the resources and support they need to thrive. We are here to help make your experience in our district a positive and successful one.
