History
Rose Hill Intermediate School was opened in 2006 and is located on the southern edge of Rose Hill, KS. Currently, RHIS houses approximately 320 students, grades 3rd-5th. Each grade level is separated into color-coordinated pods. This is a fun way to help the students feel connected and makes navigating the building easier for parents/guardians. Rose Hill Intermediate School's educational program provides students with the instructions and education that they need to prepare them for the years ahead.
Per guidelines governing all Title I schools, it is necessary for us to notify all parents/guardians that you may request information regarding the qualifications of your child's classroom teacher(s) and paraprofessional(s). Please call the school office if you would like to make such a request.
RHIS School Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:10 am-3:25 pm (doors open at 7:45 am*)
Wednesday: 9:25 am-3:25 pm (doors open at 9:00 am*)
*During cold or wet weather, students can stand inside the front doors in the entryway prior to the posted opening times. However, please note that these students are not supervised. It is recommended that students not arrive before the posted time of the doors opening.
